About Moorilim

Moorilim is a small rural locality in the City of Greater Shepparton in the Goulburn Valley of Victoria, on the Goulburn River near the towns of Murchison and Murchison East. The district adjoins the historic Noorilim pastoral run, taken up on the river flats in 1840, whose name comes from the local Ngurai-illum Wurrung people and is said to mean many lagoons. Today Moorilim is sparsely settled farming country beside the river.
