About Neuarpurr

Neuarpurr is a rural locality in the West Wimmera Shire of western Victoria, located near Apsley in the state's north-west. The area was documented as early as 1868 when artist Stanley Leighton sketched a homestead there. The Neuarpurr War Memorial Arch, inscribed with 1939 to 1945, marks the entrance to the former Memorial Hall and commemorates local service personnel.
