About Gooroc
Gooroc is a locality in the Northern Grampians region of Victoria. St Bernard's Catholic Church, built in 1922 in the interwar Gothic Revival style, stands as the only remaining building of the original surveyed township. The church was built to serve a predominantly Irish immigrant community. The Gooroc War Memorial Wall commemorates local service from the Boer War through to the Vietnam War.
