About Albacutya
Albacutya is a locality in the Shire of Hindmarsh in the Wimmera region, surrounding the shores of Lake Albacutya, an ephemeral lake that is a Ramsar wetland of international importance. When full the lake covers about 5,500 hectares, filling roughly every 20 years on the landlocked Wimmera River system, and the area lies on the Wimmera Mallee Silo Art Trail.
