About Keilor North

Keilor North is a semi-rural suburb of Melbourne, 21 km north-west of the CBD in the City of Brimbank, preserved as part of Melbourne's Green Wedge and noted for its threatened native grasslands. It borders the Organ Pipes National Park, where basalt columns formed by ancient lava flows over the Keilor Plains rise beside Jacksons Creek, and the suburb also contains the 231-hectare Sydenham Park parkland reserve along the Maribyrnong River.
