About Croydon Hills
Croydon Hills is a residential suburb of Melbourne, about 30 km east of the central business district, in the City of Maroondah. The area was formerly mixed farmland and orchards on the slopes between Croydon and Warrandyte South, and was one of Melbourne's fastest-growing new suburbs when it was subdivided into spacious, leafy housing estates during the 1980s. It is bounded by Plymouth Road to the south, Yarra Road to the east and Bemboka Road to the west.
