About Belgrave Heights

Belgrave Heights is a residential suburb in Melbourne, about 36 km south-east of the central business district, in the Shire of Yarra Ranges, south of the town of Belgrave in the Dandenong Ranges. The area was subdivided in 1914 from the Lockwood Estate, and its Post Office opened in 1938 as settlement grew. It is best known for the Belgrave Heights Convention grounds, established in 1950 on the former Lockwood Golf Links, which have long drawn campers and church groups to the hills.
