About Woodstock (Vic.)
Woodstock is a locality in Victoria, just north of Melbourne's outer suburbs, in the City of Whittlesea. Its post office opened in 1858 and served the district until 1971, and a small timber Catholic church, St Patrick's, was erected there in 1876. Former Western Australian premier Philip Collier was born and raised in Woodstock.
