About Murrindal

Murrindal is a locality in the upper reaches of the Snowy River catchment in East Gippsland, Victoria, where the Gelantipy Road crosses the Murrindal River. The river rises in the hills west of the Snowy River National Park and joins the Buchan River, and the district was the site of a silver-lead mine worked from the 1870s until 1896.
