About Kernot
Kernot is a small historic town in the Bass Coast Shire, located in South Gippsland approximately 115 kilometres south-east of Melbourne. The township was created in 1910 with the completion of the Nyora to Woolamai railway line, and the Kernot Food and Wine Store, established the same year, remains a community landmark. The town sits within easy reach of the South Gippsland coastline.
