About Flynn (Vic.)
Flynn is a locality in the Gippsland region of Victoria, on the border of the City of Latrobe and Shire of Wellington, about 14 kilometres north-east of Traralgon. A railway station opened on the Gippsland line as Flynns Creek in 1878 and was renamed Flynn in 1904. A post office at the station operated under the names Flynns Creek, Flinnstead and Flynn between 1880 and 1968, and the station itself closed to all traffic in 1977.
