About Double Bridges
Double Bridges is a locality on the Tambo River in East Gippsland, between Bruthen and Swifts Creek, where the Timbarra River joins the Tambo. Kurnai Park, a riverside reserve with bush tracks down to the river, is located here, and the surrounding district was mined for gold from the 1850s.
