About Tallangatta East
Tallangatta East is a rural locality in the Hume region of north-eastern Victoria, situated along the Murray Valley Highway about 38 kilometres south-east of Albury-Wodonga. The locality overlooks the Mitta Arm of Lake Hume, which was created when the Hume Reservoir was enlarged in the 1950s. The surrounding area is characterised by undulating pastoral land and proximity to the Upper Murray region.
