About Georges Creek (Vic.)
Georges Creek is a sparsely settled rural locality in the Towong Shire of Victoria's Alpine High Country, about 12 kilometres south of Tallangatta. Rolling grazing land set among the ranges offers views toward Lake Hume and the surrounding mountains, and the locality lies along the High Country Rail Trail, a popular cycling and walking route following the former Cudgewa railway line.
