Gnarwarre is a rural locality within the Surf Coast Shire, situated on rolling farmland west of Geelong and south of the Barwon River. The landscape is dominated by grazing land and scattered homesteads, with the Barwon River corridor forming the northern boundary. It lies approximately 18 kilometres west of Geelong CBD and around 82 kilometres southwest of Melbourne.
