About Barrabool
Barrabool is a rural locality in the Surf Coast Shire, set in the rolling Barrabool Hills approximately 12 kilometres west of Geelong. The area was among the earliest settled in southwestern Victoria, with pastoral runs established in the 1830s and a history of vineyards and cereal growing. Several heritage buildings survive, including the Holy Trinity Anglican Church School.
