About Corindhap

Corindhap is a historic gold rush town on the Ballarat-Colac Road in the Golden Plains Shire, formerly known as Break O'Day. Gold was discovered at Boundary Hill in 1852 and the town peaked at 5,000 people before settling into a quiet farming community roughly 39 kilometres south of Ballarat, retaining the Break O'Day Hotel and avenues of honour from the early twentieth century.
