About Illabarook
Illabarook is a small rural locality south-west of Ballarat in the Golden Plains Shire of Victoria, about 11 kilometres north-west of Rokewood. Formerly a gold mining town situated in the arc of gold-bearing country from Scarsdale to Rokewood, the area is now characterised by rolling farmland and open grazing country.
