About Redesdale
Redesdale is a small rural town straddling the City of Greater Bendigo and the Shire of Mount Alexander in central Victoria, approximately 115 kilometres north-west of Melbourne. Named after Robert William Rede, the goldfields commissioner at Ballarat during the Eureka Stockade, the town features the heritage-listed 1868 Redesdale Bridge across the Campaspe River.
