About Metcalfe East
Metcalfe East is a locality in the Shire of Mount Alexander, Victoria, situated near the Coliban River in the central Victorian goldfields region. The area is characterised by rolling hills, granite outcrops and agricultural land, and lies adjacent to the historic settlement of Metcalfe which developed during the 1850s gold rush.
