About Greenhill (Vic.)
Greenhill is a rural locality spanning the Shire of Macedon Ranges and the Shire of Mount Alexander in Victoria, near Kyneton. It is the site of Greenhill Windmill, built in 1856 from locally quarried bluestone and Victoria's only surviving wind-driven flour mill. The mill operated only until the mid-1860s, and the surrounding farm complex is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register.
