About Eastville
Eastville is a rural locality in north-central Victoria, straddling the Shire of Loddon and the Shire of Mount Alexander. Settled as Bradford Creek after closer land subdivision along the creek in the 1870s, it was described in 1879 as a settlement of 150 residents with a state school and post office, in a region noted for its superior wheat-growing qualities.
