About Nintingbool
Nintingbool is a small semi-rural locality on the western fringe of Ballarat in Victoria's Central Highlands, approximately 7 to 8 kilometres from the city centre. The name has Indigenous origins associated with a pastoral run established in the 1840s, and the area shares its name with the Nintingbool family winery at nearby Smythes Creek.
