About Korobeit

Korobeit is a rural locality in the Shire of Moorabool, about 18 kilometres north-west of Bacchus Marsh in central Victoria. The area lies on the basalt plains below Mount Blackwood and was settled in the 1860s, when the Mount Blackwood Hotel served miners on their way to nearby goldfields. A school opened in 1864 and operated until 1939.
