About Fiskville
Fiskville is a locality in Victoria, about 10 km south of Ballan. Named after Ernest Fisk of AWA, the site was originally a radio communication station for the Imperial Wireless Chain. From 1971 it served as the Country Fire Authority's primary training college. The facility was permanently closed in 2015 following the discovery of chemical contamination.
