About Dunluce
Dunluce is a rural locality in the Central Goldfields Shire of Victoria, located about 64 kilometres west of Bendigo and 30 kilometres south of Maryborough. Named after Dunluce Castle in County Antrim, Ireland, the landscape features classic central Victorian sheep and cattle grazing country with rolling paddocks, remnant bushland, and elevated granite rises offering panoramic views. The area was shaped by Victoria's 1850s gold rush, with Maryborough the nearest heritage goldfields centre providing V/Line rail connections to Melbourne.
