About Coghills Creek
Coghills Creek is a rural locality in the City of Ballarat in central Victoria, about 24 km north of Ballarat and 14 km west of the gold-mining town of Creswick. A hamlet here in 1860 had three places of worship, two hotels and a newly built flour mill. Today the historic St David's Uniting Church is a local landmark in an area of open pastoral and bushland country.
