About Stony Rise
Stony Rise is a rural residential locality on the southern fringe of Devonport in northern Tasmania, about 4 km from the city centre, with the Don River forming part of its western boundary. Historically an agricultural and semi-rural buffer between Devonport and the surrounding farmland, it has developed into a residential suburb with spacious lots. The Bass Highway and Stony Rise Road link the locality to the regional centre.
