About Spreyton
Spreyton is a small town and suburb of Devonport in north-west Tasmania, about 7 km south of the city centre. It has been an apple-growing district since 1908, when the family behind Spreyton Fresh planted orchards that now produce premium apple juice, and it is marked by the roadside Big Apple. The town is home to the Spreyton racecourse, which hosts the annual Devonport Cup in January.
