About Invermay (Tas.)
Invermay is a suburb of Launceston in northern Tasmania, on the eastern bank of the Tamar River north of the North Esk River, about three kilometres from the city centre. It includes the minor suburb of Inveresk, where the Inveresk Precinct houses the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery and the Tasmanian Tramway Museum. York Park, also known as UTAS Stadium, is a major sporting ground in the suburb.
