About Rokeby (Tas.)
Rokeby is a suburb of Hobart, Tasmania, located on the eastern shore of the River Derwent within the City of Clarence. It lies approximately 15 km east of the Hobart CBD via the Tasman Bridge. Originally a rural area, Rokeby has developed into a residential suburb with local schools, shops and recreational facilities. The nearby Rokeby Beach and Rokeby Point offer views across the Derwent estuary toward the Hobart city skyline.
