Palmer is a town in South Australia just east of the Adelaide Hills, on the Adelaide-Mannum Road about 70 km east-north-east of Adelaide and 15 km west-north-west of Mannum. The town has a primary school, opened in 1882, a general store, a hotel and a Lutheran Church.
