About Copeville
Copeville is a town and locality in the Murray Mallee of South Australia, within the Karoonda East Murray Council area. It was established in 1919 on the Waikerie railway line, which closed in 1994, after which the town declined. The bulk grain silos at the former station still stand, and the locality is home to Bandon Conservation Park. A Methodist church once served the town, joining the Karoonda circuit in 1966.
