About Oakden Hills
Oakden Hills is a remote outback locality in South Australia, about 170 km north of Port Augusta between Lakes Gairdner and Torrens. Taken up as a pastoral run in 1851, the area gave its name to Oakden Hills Station, which was later owned by the Kidman Brothers pastoral company.
