About Andamooka Station
Andamooka Station is a pastoral lease in outback South Australia, about 28 km north-east of Roxby Downs, bounded to the east by the salt lake Lake Torrens. Once a sheep station, it now runs cattle, and the lease is held by BHP, whose Olympic Dam mine and processing plant lie in the north-west of the property. The station was established in 1872.
