About Peep Hill

Peep Hill is a small rural locality in the Mid North region of South Australia, about 120 km north-east of Adelaide. The district, on the traditional lands of the Ngadjuri people, was settled from 1876 and in 1878 was described as no township, but simply a small settlement. A school opened in 1883 and the Lutheran St Michael's Church, built in 1890, still serves the area, which was formerly on the Morgan railway line.
