About Kooroona
Kooroona is a rural locality on the Yorke Peninsula in South Australia, directly south of Moonta. The area was formerly known as Copper Valley and South Bower after a 19th-century mining venture. The historic Moonta Cemetery at the northern tip of the locality is listed on the South Australian Heritage Register.
