About Goyder

Goyder is a locality in the Mid North of South Australia, in the central east of the cadastral Hundred of Goyder, bounded on the west by the Adelaide-Port Augusta railway line. It was named for the hundred, proclaimed in 1862, which was in turn named for George Goyder, the Surveyor General of South Australia at the time.
