About Cross Roads (SA)
Cross Roads is a locality at the northern end of the Yorke Peninsula, a satellite village to Moonta on its east. The southern half falls within the Moonta Mines State Heritage Area, and the Wheal Hughes copper mine lies just north. The village grew around the intersection of Wallaroo and Kadina roads and retains its Cross Roads Uniting Church.
