About Onkaparinga Hills
Onkaparinga Hills is a southern suburb of Adelaide, in the City of Onkaparinga, South Australia, about 33 km from the city centre. It is a leafy suburb that includes part of the Onkaparinga River National Park. The name is derived from the Kaurna word ngankiparrinnga, meaning 'the women's river', and the area was settled by Europeans from the 1840s.
