About Dover Gardens
Dover Gardens is a residential suburb of Adelaide in the City of Marion, South Australia. Settlement dates from the mid-1800s when land was used mainly for farming, orchards and vineyards. Some growth occurred from the late 1800s into the 1920s, but substantial development did not occur until after World War II, with rapid growth during the 1950s and 1960s. Points of interest include Pattriti Winery and several reserves. The suburb is bordered by Brighton, Warradale, Oaklands Park, South Brighton, Seacombe Gardens, Seacliff Park, Seaview Downs and Seacombe Heights.
