About St Morris
St Morris is a suburb of Adelaide in the City of Norwood Payneham St Peters, South Australia, located approximately 5 to 6 kilometres east of the Adelaide central business district. Originally part of the North Norwood area, the North Norwood Post Office opened around 1886, was renamed Trinity Gardens in 1950 and then St Morris in 1963 before closing in 1988. The Windsor Theatre at 407 Magill Road was a purpose-built picture theatre opened in 1931 by the Cunnew brothers and closed in 1957.
