About Payneham South
Payneham South is an inner eastern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia, in the City of Norwood Payneham St Peters, about five kilometres east of the city centre. The area was historically market gardens supplying fresh produce to Adelaide, and it is home to Payneham Cemetery on Marian Road, established in 1864. In recent decades much of the suburb has been redeveloped with new, smaller houses.
