About Woondum
Woondum is a rural locality 15 kilometres south-east of Gympie in south-east Queensland. Its western half is mountainous country within the Woondum State Forest, rising to 150 metres above sea level, while the eastern portion consists of flatter farmland. The North Coast railway line runs through the locality, which is also close to the granite rock pools and rainforest of nearby Woondum National Park.
