About Upper Kandanga
Upper Kandanga is a rural locality in the Gympie Region of south-east Queensland, about 13 kilometres south-west of Kandanga in the Mary Valley hinterland. It features rolling hills and farmland at elevations between 168 and 700 metres, and is near Lake Borumba and the Kandanga Valley where the former Kandanga Valley Provisional School operated in the early twentieth century.
