About Tingoora

Tingoora is a rural town in the South Burnett Region, located about 23 kilometres north of Kingaroy on the Bunya Highway. Its name comes from the Waka language word for the wattle tree, and the town is home to the longest surviving wooden railway bridge in the South Burnett, now part of the Kilkivan-Kingaroy Rail Trail.
