Scrubby Creek is a rural locality in the Gympie Region of Queensland, located about 13 kilometres west-southwest of Gympie. The area features rolling hills and dense vegetation typical of the Gympie countryside, with the locality named after the creek that flows through it. A provisional school operated in the area from 1934 until 1960.
