About Neerdie
Neerdie is a rural locality split between the Gympie Region and Fraser Coast Region, about 30 kilometres north-north-east of Gympie. Most of the area is covered by Neerdie State Forest, with rural residential and grazing land concentrated in the south-east, and the locality has a history tied to 19th-century gold and copper mining.
