About Lake Monduran
Lake Monduran is a rural locality in the Bundaberg Region of Queensland, around the reservoir of the same name created by Fred Haigh Dam on the Kolan River. The lake, named after a pastoral run held by the Landsborough brothers in 1857, was formed by the dam in 1978 and is stocked with barramundi and other fish, making it a popular fishing and boating destination.
