About Coondoo
Coondoo is a small rural locality in the Gympie Region of south-east Queensland, about 33 kilometres east of Gympie. The area was first settled for timber-getting and farming, with a provisional school established in 1912 that operated as Coondoo State School until its closure in 1968.
